The Decision
The outcome of the Brown v. Borad of Education court case led to the desegregation of schools all across the country. The schools in Topeka, Kansas have now been integrated for about 70 years. The climate of the town not only changed in the field of education, but also in the political field; election outcomes also varied because of the decision of the court. The decision of this court case overturned the Plessy v. Ferguson case from 1896, which allowed state-sponsered segregation. This court case changed the public schooling system throughout the whole country.
